frequently Asked Questions

Plan Management means helping the Participant manage their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding. The Participant can choose a Plan Manager like us to help them in tracking their budget and paying their Service providers. Plan Management is one of the ways in which the Participant’s NDIS funding is managed, other options include Self-managed and NDIA managed.

A NDIS Plan Manager is responsible for claiming payment through the NDIS Portal and paying the Service Provider’s invoices for the services that the Participant receives. A Plan Manager is also responsible for providing  monthly statements to the Participant about how much has been paid to their Service Providers as well as the remaining amounts in the Participant’s support categories.

Plan Management opens-up more options when it comes to selecting Service Providers. That means Plan-Managed NDIS Participants have the option of choosing from both NDIS registered as well as unregistered Service Providers.  Plan Management relieves the Participant from the administrative burden of managing their NDIS funding.

Not all Services providers choose to register themselves with the NDIS, only registered providers can claim their invoices from the NDIS directly. However, Plan-Managed NDIS Participants have the option of choosing from both NDIS registered as well as unregistered Service Providers.

As an NDIS Participant, you are eligible to have Plan Management included in your NDIS Plan. To avail it, ensure that your NDIS plan includes the category “Improved Life Choices” (sometimes referred to as CB Choice and Control).

There is no out of pocket cost to you. All costs for the Plan Manager service are covered within your NDIS Plan budget.
